Why Resin Plaques and Signs?

Resin is a perfect material for outdoor use as it is totally weatherproof and can remain outside all year round. Plaques, garden signs and house number signs can be made to simulate natural materials such as slate and stone at a much lower cost than the real thing.

We first developed house signs and plaques in the 1990’s after purchasing our first laser engraving machine. Using real slate and stone to build our master copies (so that the textures are transferred to the moulds) and sometimes adding embellishments and borders that would be impossible/expensive on true slate or stone, we are able to produce a high quality house sign that is almost indistinguishable from the real material.

Our House Signs

Our house signs have been sold through many reputable mail order catalogues and also via web-based companies. We offer a variety of sizes, from a house number sign through to a home sign that can be used for up to 40 – 50 characters. We can also design and produce bespoke home signs to your own specification.

Garden Wall Plaques

We are also able to manufacture garden wall plaques (including the range of Green Men that can be seen on this website). These plaques are again totally weatherproof and after time, will weather and take on the appearance of aged stone. We have also in the past manufactured garden signs that do not require any personalisation such as “Please Shut The Gate” for example. Another example of what we are able to produce in this genre is memorial plaques.
